Scarabaeidae Heliocopris Dominus, but also called the dung beetle. This beetle has more history than any other beetle, including the Volkswagon beetle! It dates back to ancient Egyptians who thought the sun rolling across the sky was related to the dung beetle rolling balls of dung across the ground. Like all of nature's creations, everybody has a function, and the dung beetle's function is cleaning up poop. They break up dung, bury it and eat it. The results are fewer of those pesky flies and very fertile soil. Learn how the dung beetle navigates by the moon.

Give this as a gift to the person who knows there's always a pony where poop is and makes the best of whatever life brings. Size 2" tall x 1" wide, in a frame 5" x 6".
